turns off sidebars, widgets and topbar!

This is the first time I hear of such a problem. It must come from a conflict with other plugins. Do you have a list with the plugins that you use? Let me also know if you changed the default configuration of the plugin. E.g., what did you use instead of the default “Read More” text? Try playing with the limits definition (let it cut a post by paragraph, words, etc, and see if an option works without problems. Don’t forget also to clear the cache of your blog.
