• That’s a great initiative to upgrade Tutor from time to time, but IS NOT SO GREAT when you change the flow, the user interface, and especially the new upgrade BROKE down things that previously worked fine. There is a rule: don’t touch things that work well! Now we have to do a lot of work with testing the new flow, new courses, new things… and I hate that! If I bought one thing, let that thing as I bought it, don’t change anything because I bought it because I need it as it initially was! Hope this makes sense to you.

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns. We understand that changes to the flow and interface can be disruptive, especially when they impact your existing setup. Our goal is to enhance Tutor LMS by improving functionality, performance, and user experience, but we recognize that unexpected changes can be frustrating.

To address the issue you’re facing:

    1. Compatibility between Free and Pro Versions: It’s essential to use the same version of both the free and Pro versions of Tutor LMS. Mixing versions can lead to compatibility issues and may cause features to break or behave unexpectedly.

    2. Reason for Updates: Updates not only introduce new features but also address security vulnerabilities, improve performance, and ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress and PHP versions. This is necessary to keep your site secure and up-to-date with industry standards.

    3. User Feedback: We highly value user feedback like yours. While we aim to bring improvements, we’ll take your points into consideration to minimize disruption in future updates and provide better documentation and guidance for smoother transitions.

If you need assistance with transitioning or resolving specific issues caused by the update, please feel free to reach out. We’re here to help make this process as smooth as possible for you.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding!

In v3.0 you changed the frontend course creation, and I don’t like the new interface, the new flow of creating courses lessons and what so ever. I want the previous interface because that was the reason we bought the Pro version. And the compatibility with Google Drive which now is not working anymore.

You just cannot change things just because you dream to “enhance” Tutor LMS, without keeping in mind your customers needs!

Did you collect your customers opinion regarding the new flow? NO! “Hey customers, we want to mess up the UX frontend course builder. What is your opinion, since you paid for it? Here is our UX suggestion. TAke a look over wireframes and tell us how we can do this better?” I haven’t received such a message! I received, in exchange, messages like “buy now Tutor Pro, X% off”. But I already bought the Pro months ago…

Did you think you might disrupt your customers business by changing the UX? NO!

Did you care about that? NO!

I spend 2 months on testing all the LMS from the market and I have chosen Tutor. Why? Because I liked the frontend UX course creation. Now you mess it up!
