Tutorials: How setup Restance RE Site

If you want to use gutenverse template you must install gutenverse plugin first.
1. Go to Plugins > Add New
2. Search for “Gutenverse”
3. Install and Activate.
Then you need to Install the template
1. Go to Appearance > Themes
2. Click Add New on the top of the page.
3. Search for “Restance”
4. Install and Activate.
If you want to edit the template go to Appearance > Editor > Template and chose what template do you want to edit.

I’m also working on this theme and am starting to get the hang of it. I have it setup as a staging site and am questioning how to incorporate my IDX feed while in the staging site. The front page has featured properties, etc. – that I’m hoping to customize similar my current site is to pull listings, areas, etc. I question if I can do this in staging, or does it need to go live. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I think it possible, but It depends on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) you are using. Some MLS systems may allow you to integrate the IDX feed on a staging site, while others may require the site to be live or have specific requirements. You need to contact your IDX or MLS service provider for more information on how to integrate the IDX feed on a staging site and whether there are any specific requirements you need to follow.
And please create a separate topic regarding this, I understand this looks like similar issue, but it will be easier to track each user’s issue in their own topic.
