I am struggling to control the elements while building my pages. For example, I want the image on the top right of the page linked above to be reduced so it fits/adjusts to the a smaller cover block size. But I only see a crop button, not a resize one. How can I chose the image size?

I searched for tutorials and I find that they have many more settings in their image blocks than I do, for example, in this tutorial on how to add and align images.

Am I missing something? I tried installing the Guttenberg plugin but it doesn’t seem to offer more settings. I don’t understand why my block editor has less settings than others do. Is it because they use other block editor plugins?

I feel very limited to style my pages when I don’t have a good knowledge of the different blocks, but even more if those blocks don’t offer many settings. Are there good tutorials on how to “play” with the different blocks?

I love learning CSS but it takes a long time to master all the situations that show up while building a site. But I don’t want to fall for a site builder plugin that breaks it all to pieces when I uninstall it and I end up learning nothing.

Sorry for this discharge. I feel stuck and I am hopeful someone can give me some orientation.
