This is really silly for a plugin called Rotating Tweets, but I’m wondering if there’s a simple way without extensively rewriting your code, to make the tweets display down the page instead of rotate. Right now, I can’t find ANY plugin which really works for twitter feeds besides yours, but I need a non-rotating version that displays 5-8 tweets down the page.

I’m figuring it won’t be that complex to edit it out of your plugin, but was hoping you might have a simple way built in, to deactivate the rotation.

    Thanks!

    Good idea.

It wouldn’t need an extensive rewrite – in essence, just ‘switching off’ the hiding of the non-displaying tweets and changing the id for the container so that the rotation script doesn’t spot it.

I’ve updated the development version to add a no_rotate switch that does this! ??

    Try something like:
    [rotatingtweets screen_name='twitter' no_rotate='true']

PS: all it took was this! ??

THANK YOU!! I tried it out and it works perfectly! I was hoping it would be something simple to implement- would have taken me quite a while to read all the code to decide where to start editing it myself.

Thank you so much for having really, the only functioning twitter plugin I’ve found. =)
