Tweeting Old Portfolo

I’ve tried two very similar plugins called “tweet old posts” and “tweetily” (which BTW seem almost plagiaristically similar) with no luck.
Neither can find any posts to tweet and I suspect it’s because all my posts are portfolios – anyone confirm or come up with a fix?
