twenty eleven: add analytics code using child-theme
-
Hi!
I added this analytics code to header.php.
<script>
(function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i[‘GoogleAnalyticsObject’]=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
})(window,document,’script’,’//www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js’,’ga’);ga(‘create’, ‘UA-xxxxxx-1’, ‘auto’);
ga(‘send’, ‘pageview’);
</script>However I’m using a child-theme. Should I add it in the child theme folder? I’m asking because I already have some stats but they are really weird. All traffic comes from russia or EUA but the link to the site is available inside a login protected website? Also the real-time stats are not working…
Any tips?
