[Twenty Eleven] Child Theme doesn't show up in admin dashboard

    I uploaded the the child theme of Twenty Eleven in the theme directory but it is not shown in the Appearence > Themes. But the child theme works perfectly in my LAMP server. Any help?

  • Is the theme still zipped? I’ve got a bare bones Twenty Eleven child theme available if you want to try that one out. either use the Install themes option to upload the Zipped theme archive or unpack the archive and upload the twentyeleven-child folder to wp-content/themes.

    I’ve changed the child theme’s name from the style.css and it is working now! I am not sure what was happened. ??

    I use filezilla to upload anything to my hosts. So instead of a zipped file, I just dragged-n-droped the child theme directory from my LAMP to the WP’s Theme directory.
