Twenty Eleven Content

    Hi

    I’m currently working on a site using a child theme based on the Twenty Eleven theme.

    I have set the header and footer to be 100% width so it fills the full width and set the margins to 0.

    Next, I am trying to set the content to be centred and have a indent margin however I’m having some trouble setting this up. I’ve attempted to add a margin to the #main, #primary, #content and #page containers however none seem to work.

    I want to have background space on both left and right hand sides, something similar to: https://www.t3.com

    Could anyone advise how I do this?

    Hi,

    I think i’ve somehow managed to do it, don’t ask me how but its looking something similar to how I want it too.

    I just need to figure out how to widen the sidebar a little, as its too narrow but keeps knocking off the layout if i make it any bigger.
