• I was adding a copyright to the footer.php file in the Twenty Eleven
theme and noticed that the “Proudly powered by WordPress” should
include the theme name and a link to the theme. At least that is how I
read the twentyeleven credits action. The only thing that shows is the
“Proudly powered by WordPress”, which links only to www.ads-software.com

Should the theme name and link to it be there? I don’t think there is a setting in
the theme options to turn it off.
Here is the link to the blog I am developing:

  • Hi there,

No, this theme (like other default themes) does not include the name of the theme in the footer. The twentyeleven_credits action is in place for any plugin to add text or content there, however.
