Twenty Eleven menu not showing in IE 7

  • Here is my new site:

    The menu shows fine in Chrome and Firefox but not in IE7, which is my test version of IE.

    I have followed up a tip elsewhere and placed the following code in my child theme’s css, but that has had no apparent effect:

    #nav-content { position: relative;z-index: 100001; }

    Can anyone help? I have some experience in WordPress but am not a coding expert by any means.
