Twenty Eleven Questions – padding & and header background color

  • Hello,
    Im fairly new to WordPress and to CSS in general. Im using Twenty Eleven and Ive created a Child Theme for it, and now Im having some trouble with the padding/margins around my custom site title/logo and the background of the header image. I unfortunately don`t have a link yet to show.

    My logo is 1000×146, and theres a lot of space above it and below it. Im trying to move it down so that its flush to the top of the header image. Is there a way to do this?

    Also I was able to change the background color of the body, but there is still a black border around my header image, is there a way to remove this or to change it so I can match it to my backgound color? Here`s the code in my style.css file if it helps:
