How can I set a specific header for a specific page in the Twenty Eleven theme?
I’ve been searching the forum for the answer to my question because I thought all you needed to do was upload the header you wanted for a specific page as that page’s Featured Image.
That doesn’t seem to be working for my site: https://www.madamesarah.com

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Make sure that the featured image is the right size: 1000 x 288px.

That’s exactly it, I had changed the header size in functions.php

    Thanks, it works now!

Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.
