Hello all!
Can anyone tell me why my pages are suddenly displaying the words ‘recent posts’ near the footer area when i have it set to not allow posts?

and how to remove it?

Hello again everyone!!
Would anyone have any notion on how to remove the words ‘recent posts’ from the bottom of my webpage at artbykellycartwright.com

i changed the page display and these two words are popping up though i have the replies button turned off. Not sure what to do other than switch it back to the old display.
any ideas worth a try?

What do you mean you changed the page display? Is that an unmodified version of twentyeleven?

yet the post option is disabled so should it not be hidden when i remove the option? (which is what the sidebar theme does)

Sadly no one knew the answer to this.

Since then i have tried other things to no avail and so now am trying to revert back to the basic side bar template HOWEVER it is not showing up – meaning it will not change back to the prior template.

has this happened to anyone else?

something odd is happening to my site.
all my pages are wonky and being deleted.
I have never seem wp do this.
it’s very upsetting and odd.
