Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve

I just modified a site in progress to Twentytwelve from Twentyeleven…I was using a child theme and simply copied all files of child theme to twentytwelve-child folder and edited style.css to point to the twentytwleve style.css – but…site was hosed (display, css was way off) – so I simply edited the twentytwelve child theme’s style.css to point to twentyeleven’s style.css…anyway, question is, have I simply now just reverted to twentyeleven or is the site loading twentytwelve and the child theme’s files?
