If I’m understanding the issue correctly, it should be the box shadow.

Try this:

.hentry, .page-header, .page-content {
box-shadow: none;
}

And rather than editing your style.css, it’s recommended to instead use a plugin like – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-custom-css/

Thx for the info HostAwesome. I’ve got the same problem and I managed to clear most of the borders by clearing the box-shadow properties from the .css file. However the border around the navigation bar won’t clear by doing this.
