twenty fifteen example theme – how to position image?

The example for theme twenty-fifteen shown when selecting themes includes an image in the post area of the screen. The image is justified to the top of the post area without padding, and fills the post area left-to-right also without padding. How is this done? None of the ‘Post Formats’ place the image as shown in the sample page. The example is found in wp-admin/themes.
