• Hi there,

I’m working on a site on a local (WAMP) server, so unfortunately I can’t provide links.

I wondered how feasible it would be to add additional custom text within the Twenty Fourteen featured content slider. The text would be unique to each slide/featured post, and I’d like it to appear directly underneath the main h1 heading. I have already removed the category text above the h1 heading, as I did not require this.

I’m wondering if it is possible to do this via a post excerpt, if not by inserting a paragraph or div? If it can’t be done with CSS and requires changes to a template, is there any basic information available on this?

I’m sorry if this is a bit vague, but really I’m just looking for a little nudge in the right direction.

    Thank you very much!

Moderators: is it possible for this topic to be moved to the Twenty Fourteen extend listing page, or deleted so I can repost it there?

It’s my first time on the forums and unfortunately I didn’t notice this mistake until it was too late!
