Twenty Fourteen Documentation

Is there any documentation for Twenty Fourteen?

I can’t get the slider to show on my front page. Any of my image posts only show as underlined links.

All I want to do is create a simple gallery on its own page and a slider on the home page.

Very frustrating. At this rate it would be easier to create it from scratch with Headway.
