Twenty Fourteen featured grid/slider not working

Hey, are you using jetpack? Try disabling it loading. It should load. Then you can re enable.
The same thing happened with me. Disabling jetpack worked earlier. Now suddenly I’ve lost the slider again. And now, no matter what I do it isn’t coming back.

To note, changing the tag to something other than featured fixed it. Still a bug that probably needs reported, though.

Much thanks! This worked, but was frustrating, because every time I toggled off infinite scroll, it would set my tag back to “featured” In the “customize” panel … weird.

That’s indeed a known conflict between Jetpack and Twenty Fourteen. The bug will be fixed in the next Jetpack release. You can read more about it here:

I have tried it all and there is no grid or slider showing. I have set the Customize/Featured Content to Grid, I have changed the tag word from ‘featured’ to ‘top’, I have added the tag ‘top’ to a standard post, I have inserted a featured image to the standard post and edited the image to have a width of 1038px, I have disabled Jetback, I have downloaded Jetback beta, I have disabled Jetback beta, I have logged out, logged in, tried new posts, tried new featured images, all to no avail…

I tried to disable the Jetpack, also changing the tag name, it doesn’t apper GRID at all.
Can somebody help?
