Twenty Fourteen Grid design

  • I’m trying to display the grid-style setup for twenty fourteen and am trying to follow this instruction:
    To choose your layout, open up the Theme Customizer:

    Under *Featured Content* select your preferred layout from the drop down.

    I have installed extended twenty fourteen and “featured content” doesn’t seem to be an option… I can’t find it in the list!

    I have Site title and tagline,
    Twentyfourteen Start here
    Twentyfourteen General options
    Twentyfourteen Content options
    Twentyfourteen FitVids options
    Twentyfourteen Mobile Options
    Twentyfourteen Optional scripts
    Colors
    Header image
    Background image
    navigation
    Widgets
    Static Front page.

    I’ve been through each of them and the only place I can find a setting tot he featured image is under the mobile options. What am I missin?
