[Twenty Fourteen] How to make footer widget span the whole footer width

Hi Ooteschoogen,
So far I was able to span the first footer widget the whole width of the footer adding this code to the styles.css or custom.css:

.tickercontainer {
  overflow: visible;
  }
element.style {
  overflow: hidden;
}

The other part will be a little more difficult. Let me know if that works for you. Chris
