Twenty Fourteen Slider for beginners

  • I would like to know if the following regarding the slider in the header is possible:

    1. How do I remove the Next arrows and make the pictures slide on their own?
    2. Can the slider use images from the image library and not be linked to a post (Tag=Featured)?
    3. Can the slider image be linked to a Page and not a post?
    4. Can I use a plugin slider in the header (any good ones?)

    If all are possible I’ll decide which approach to take.
