    Hi,

When I first switched to this I was able to see comments on the bottom of each post on the homepage but somehow the form has disappeared. If I directly link to any of the blog post I see comments just not on homepage. Anything I can do? All boxes are checked for discussion, comment fields, etc… Thanks for your help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

I’m really sorry but you must be mistaken.

The theme only shows comments on single post pages.

Do you want to show comments on all archive (category / tag) pages or just the blog home page?

We may be able to create an option to inject the comments on these pages using a hook.

    Hi Oliver,

Oh wow I could have sworn when I installed there was a comment option on the bottom of each post on the home page. I would love to have it on the blog main page too. I was using another twenty* theme that we liked but the comments were on top of the blog post which we didn’t like. Would just love to get it on the bottom Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

    Hello Bill,

OK, we will take a look to see what we can do. In theory it should be possible to do with a hook.

We’ll add this to our “to do” list and let you know when we have more information for you.

OK, so it’s bad news I’m afraid.

We were half way there to inject the comments into the archive / blog pages’ posts … and then we hit a snag. WordPress core’s function comments_template() does not allow comments to be shown on these pages …

Will not display the comments template if not on single post or page, or if the post does not have comments.

… which pretty much also confirms that this was never something that you had on your site, sorry!

Sorry this was not what you wanted.

    Oliver
