Twenty Ten : Default fonts?

  • Working on a child theme for Twenty Ten. I notice that in the theme’s functions.php file, there are no Google fonts enqueued. Yet in the style.css file, there are calls to:

    Nimbus Sans L, Helvetica Neue, Monaco, Consolas

    The first two are clearly “wishful thinking,” and the other two are not what I would call completely universal. So, Twenty Temn reverts to Arial for almost everything.

    Is it just me, or is this kind of strange for a theme?
