Twenty Ten image header problems
-
Okay. So I had uploaded an image header. WordPress dialog said “Images of exactly 940 × 198 pixels will be used as-is.”, so that’s what I made. Still it left a black border over the top and to the right of the photo.
The dialog also said, “On the next screen you will be able to crop the image”. So I thought I’d make a new header and keep the ratio but this time make it a little larger so I could crop it. Well, I still have the black border. It wouldn’t be so bad if it had it on the left, but it doesn’t.
Anyway, something else strange happened. The text “613photo” in the image looks really flat. The word “photo” should be almost white. Not quite all the way white, but whiter than that. And the “613” part should be a primary red, not that crappy looking rust color. Plus the image just looks different all the way around.
The image I uploaded was only 132kb…why would WordPress see the need to mess around with it?
And how do I fix it?
Thank you.
