Twenty Ten: Moving Post BG to the Left

Edit style.css and change:

margin:0 280px 0 20px;
}

to

#content {
margin:0 280px 0 0;
}

can i add a
.post { padding:20px; }
to it?

I agree. Just wasn’t sure if the text was supposed to be hard up against the container edges. ??

Now, one little detail: In the sidebar, I seem to have an extra semi-transparent BG overlaying the bottom one. I only want the bottom one (otherwise the BG is too black):

if you mean the darker background under the blue list elements in the sidebars?

you could use this:
#main .widget-area ul ul { background:none; }
