twenty-ten narrow sidebar fix

First I would like to say I love my twenty-ten theme. I know almost nothing about setting up or coding yet I have stumbled through with this site with the ability to ad plugins. I do not want to have to find another theme.

But since I started with Adsense they suggest 336px for the best earning. Ads should be 2-in the side bar 336px above the fold, and a 1-720 leader size between header and the first post. I can add small ads in the sidebar, but they pay very little.

I was told not to mess with the coding or I would break the responsive part of the theme.

Is there any chance of an update accommodating these changes or an option to choose that option?
