Twenty Ten Theme: Table Width and Alignment

    I am using the Twenty Ten theme for a client website I am building. In order to make a 2-column layout for my forms I created them within a table. I attempted doing <table width="300px"> and that didn’t work.

    For alignment I tried <table align="center"> and that also didn’t work.

    Let me know how you recommend to this, I know its probably something very simple that I am overlooking at the moment. Thanks in advance.
