Twenty-twelve child search box missing in smartphones

  • I’ve recently realized that the Menu button displayed in smartphones did not work so I had to change <h3 class=”menu-toggle”… by <button class=”menu-toggle”… in header.php

    No I see search box is missing and there’s no way to display it.

    What can I do?

    Switcher only allows me to switch themes. Now I have to get another theme or probably better create a custom twtw theme and its child.
    Anyway I find it strange that this WP theme doesn’t have automated templates for mobile, customizable like any theme.

    I think it’s the other way around: A lot of themes use CSS Media Queries to control the mobile layout and a theme that does server-side mobile detection would be less common.

    Thanks for your help, Andrew.
    I think I prefer a custom twenty-twelveB and its child because I already have some php changes (the child theme) I wouldn’t have to recreate again.
    Anyway I have to see on the go
