Twenty Twelve menu button full screen

I have a “menu” button that has appeared and sits directly above my navigation bar.

This “menu” button is visible in full screen mode on my laptop as well as tablet size screens.
Did the Twenty Twelve theme have an update that caused this? I am sure it was not there previously.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
