[Twenty Twelve] Page anchor not working on blog page

  • I am having a problem getting one of my anchors to work. I have a very large image on my site and I wanted to direct readers under the image to my blog section. However, my anchor is not working. Here is my website.

    On the “Blog” page I added

    <div id=”blog”>
    </div>

    Then in the menu links section under the menu tab, I inserted the link:

    /?page_id=16#blog

    However, when I press the menu button, it does not take me to the section I specified, it just stays at the top of the site.

    Is there something else I can try to add an anchor to the blog page? FYI I am using a Twenty Twelve Child Theme and do have Firebug.

  • Try using the full URL for that page link.

    Thanks for your response. That doesn’t seemed to have worked for some reason. On the other hand, the client asked that I move the navigation back under the image, so that does solve part of the problem.
