Twenty Twelve : Right Align 'Site Title' and add a little extra text

    Hi,

    I am using Twenty Twelve theme, but I do want to do a little modification.
    I have created a child theme, but then I do not know what file to “override”.

    The Site Title text in the Twenty Twelve theme is justified/aligned to the left. I would like to add some text before the Site Title and then align that whole “header” text to the right.

    How do I accomplish this?

  • You will need to copy and amend the header.php template file in your child theme. I imagine that you’ll also need to add some custom CSS to your child theme’s stylesheet.
