• Hi,
I’m working on theme customization of twenty eleven theme using a child theme for my self hosted wordpress blog.
After customizing the child theme and making the required style changes, when I import the wordpress.com xml file (have about 80 posts) into the self hosted blog, will the child theme changes done be overwritten due to the import?
What is the best way to import the xml file without overwriting the new theme changes?

  • xml imports just bring content into your site. They do not touch the themes at all.

Thanks a bunch! that was a fast reply..
BTW, what would be the best way to use web fonts for all elements?

Use Google Fonts, Cufon or @font-face.

    Thank you!
Need some help on the content formatting
Now that I have several posts, how do I go about making content across posts look uniformly of the same style I need.
    I have set fonts for h1, h2… h6
However, in some posts I see that I had not set those values. Is there any other css related option other than painstakingly going into each individual post and setting the format?

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.
