twentyeleven editing pages

  • I want to add a page with a forum. If my front page has a sidebar. Can i create a page without a sidebar in my menu so i can install a fullsize forum column on that page?

  • By default, twentyeleven has a sidebar on blog-type pages only (i.e. lists of posts). So if you’re adding a ‘page’, it shouldn’t have a sidebar. I think.

    BTW, if you find you need to make alterations to the theme, please bear in mind that you should not alter any of the standard themes (like twentyeleven) except via a Child Theme.
