    Hi All,

Just installed my pages at https://www.CharlestonWeddingPastor.com and set the Reading settings to the Homepage for the front page, and when I did this, the Blog Post Page completely vanished. When I click the dropdown on Reading to select the Blog Page as the page to display posts, the blog page is not there on the list of pages.

The posts I created are in the dashboard. Thank you for your assistance…I’m a newbie, not too technically oriented, so if you have a suggestion thank you so much for keeping the instructions clear and as simple as possible. WP Rocks!

Thank you for creating with WordPress.

    Version 3.5.1

You need to create an EMPTY page (not post) for your blog posts (call it something like “blog” or “news”). Then go to Settings -> Reading and set Posts Page to the new page that you just created. Your blog posts will now show up on that page.

Thank you Timothy!!! Worked like a charm. I’ll be naming my first baby after you…just kidding. Really tore my hair out trying to figure this out. Best regards, Ellis
