[twentyseventeen] Header & Navigation scaling issue

for https://www.akkade.be when the header is smaller then 920w it starts to get a little bit weird. usually, I use bootstrap for scaling but this theme doesn’t have bootstrap what can/should I do? worst case I can add the bootstrap classes but then I have to find where all the elements are created and I’m not that experienced in WordPress. (I’ll find them but it’ll take me some time).
