Twentysixteen white space problem with metaslider

Hi,

I’m using meta slider with twenty sixteen, but am unable to remove the extra white padding above the meta slider on my home page:

I’ve tried this but it doesn’t work:

#wrapper {
margin-top: 0;
}

.slider-wrapper {
margin-left: -18px;
margin-right: -18px;
}
.home .post-entry {
margin-top: -18px;
}
