twentytwenty support?

I’m trying this with the wp twentytwenty theme. The div with class (table-responsive wprt_style_display) is added around the table. Basic styling works (white background, border etc) but its is not responsive and does not even show a horizontal scrollbar on small media devices. the table I’m testing has been made in a custom plugin with no table styling. the only possible plugin conflict could be with munich for gutenbuerg. I don’t see any munich css showing in the table css in FF developer tab (or on this page).

should wp responsive table work with twentytwenty? any tips?
