    Hello everyone!

Addressing this unexpected shutdown, we understand that this has caused inconvenience to many of our users and we apologize for any frustration that this may have caused.

We want to assure you that we are working tirelessly to find a solution to this problem. We have a solution ready for our Pro users which will be rolled out next week, but unfortunately, it will take some additional time to implement for our free users.

We want to convey that this was unexpected for us, as Twitter did not communicate with us about when their decision to shut down their free API platform would take effect. However, we are committed to keeping our plugin working, and we are currently testing and finalizing a new solution that will enable us to do just that. Keep an eye out for coming updates to our plugin however for now, your feeds will not be working as expected.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we will keep you updated as we progress with our new solution. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our support team. For updates please check this FAQ.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Sincerely,
    The Smash Balloon Team

  • So it’s been over two weeks now. What is the ETA on a fix?

    Hey @flyingkites,

As we have released an update for our Pro users, we are using this to test and expand our new solution. As soon as we are able, we will provide a solution to Free users. Initially this will include the option of being able to use the paid Twitter API, and then we will introduce a free option. This will require a new system to authenticate our users (our Pro users are already authenticated with a license key), which is a reason for this to take some additional time. Rest assured that this is something we take very seriously, and want a stable solution that our users can count on going forward.

We will update everyone here and on our site as soon as we have further details.

    Thanks!

    Hello
Thank you very much for following this topic. Indeed, we currently have to do without this plugin which does not work at all in its free version.
