Image attached to tweet takes 25 characters. So it sounds about right.

No, I told you that there are ~30 letters left even WITH the link to the post AND the link to the image. Read carefully ??

Can you give me some examples?

    “Star Wars 7: J.J. Abrams pr?sentiert neuen X-Wing ganz ohne …: https://xxxxx.de/sku8c pic.twitter.com/1234567890”

I changed some words (but of course the same count of letters). 28 letters left.

What exactly do you have in the “Message format” field?

    Thread Starter mdidesign

    (@mdidesign)

    %TITLE%: %SURL%

This is the message-format.. and now? Still truncated, still ~30 letters left.

I have the same issue on my site.

    Message Format: %TITLE% – %SURL%

Attach Image to Twitter Post: Checked

Posts are truncated even when title and short url are less than 140 characters.

So you’re saying that including the attach to image option adds characters even thought they don’t show up as part of the tweet?

This makes no sense. If there are no additional letters shown, a tweet should not get truncated. When will there be a fix?

    Hi

    Same issue here

After update to Versión del Plugin: 3.4.2

The images to facebook works but to twitter not working

    Have this error

Could not get image (https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/myimage.jpg), will post without it – Error:

The mysite.com i put there only to replicate the error

Is there a way to fix it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Bst regards

Still waiting for an answer from the author. Twitter posts still get truncated in a very, very bad way. It makes no sense. There are still letters left, but it still got truncated… Fix!?!?

WAs this ever resolved? I have the same issue. Im using %TITLE%: %SURL% and the twitter posts are getting truncated, mostly the title is getting cut off. Its WAY less that 140 characters.

Let me add to my last question. Im using SPINTXT so what Im seeing is that it looks like your counting the max twitter characters BEFORE the content is run through the spinner so it looks like more characters.

Could this be a bug in the implementation of the spintxt??

mptring Please do not ask the same question 3 times in 3 different threads.

The problem from this thread was resolved 4 months ago. It has nothing to do with yours.
