Twitter card for pages? (only works on posts)

Thanks for reaching out regarding your Twitter cards. Do you mind sharing an affected URL?

I just realized that also for the posts it’s not showing, just for some posts yes, for others not. All URLs I entered in my screen recording are valid URLs of course. I don’t want mention my website to be mentioned in this thread, but you can see it in the video and try your tests:

Thanks Deon. Please update the Yoast SEO to version 20.11.

Next, navigate to WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Features > Social Sharing > Twitter Card Data and ensure the feature is toggled ON.

Then retry the Twitter sharing.

About updating, I will not because it’s not compatible with my current WordPress version. About the twitter card enabled or disabled, I tried both settings and the results are identical.

Unfortunately, we do not provide support for older versions of our plugins. Also, we do not recommend using outdated versions of WordPress, including (our own) plugins and themes, for the reasons covered in?this article. Therefore, we’d recommend updating to the latest versions.

Your settings are automatically saved during the update process. Before making important changes to your website, like updating WordPress or your plugins, creating backups is always a good practice.

Once you are on the latest WordPress and Yoast SEO versions but still have issues, we’d be happy to troubleshoot the issue further.
