Twitter Card og:image issues

I am using this plugin to generate twitter cards for my site. The plugin keeps selecting the last image available on the page instead of the first image. When I try to change this by setting a feature image, it still shows the last image on the page. The only way I have found to correct this issue is to identify the twitter:image:src meta tag on pages.
Is there a simple fix to the plugin set-up that can correct this?
