Some of my twitter cards are not showing up correctly.
For some posts, e.g. the below
    fb.me/4ML749Hxz
    they are showing fine.
But for most, e.g. the below,
    fb.me/20onHT24U
I get the following error when I try to validate using the card validator:
ERROR: Invalid value (message: Field description failed to validate because: text expects tag property, but not found in Map().)
Any ideas what could be causing this error or what I could do to fix it?

    Thank you

It appears the twitter:description property is missing.
No idea why this property is found only in some posts.. Tried turning off cache but still nothing..

Have you validated your URL, applied for Twitter cards and been approved by Twitter?

If not, please refer to this KB article: Setting up Twitter Cards in Yoast SEO – https://kb.yoast.com/article/147-setting-up-twitter-cards-in-wordpress-seo

    Hello,

Thank you for the reply. I am approved by twitter, the cards are showing on some posts, the ones that have the twitter:description property

    my site is idolx.net

    Hello,
I’ve the same problem: in some pages of my site twitter:description is missing.

The site is approved and other cards works fine. The problem is that the field twitter:description is missing and so Twitter don’t validate the card.

Do you have any suggestion on how to solve?

It seems that forcing the description in Twitter medatadata settings on Yoast tab of the page make the twitter:description tag to appears but I cannot edit all my pages to fix this, I prefer to use an autogenerated description.

I’ve the problem only on pages, posts works fine

    Thanks
    Fabio
