    Hello!

I’m trying to get Twitter Cards to work on the website but I keep getting this error. I’ve already tried changing themes on WordPress to no avail.

This shows up on Twitter’s card validator:
    INFO: Page fetched successfully
    WARN: No metatags found

I already have Yoast SEO as a plugin with Twitter Cards enabled.

Would greatly appreciate the assistance, thanks.

We’re sorry you’re having trouble with Twitter sharing. Could you please go to SEO > Social >> Twitter(tab) and check if the Twitter settings are enabled?

If so, edit the particular page and go to the Social tab and upload the image for Twitter within Yoast SEO Metabox, does the issue resolve?

Hello! The Twitter setting is enabled.

I don’t have any pages set up yet, just the default homepage given by the theme as well as some blog posts.

Card validator still shows the same errors.

    Thanks for the additional info.

We expect that you can still configure Twitter settings via Yoast SEO metabox by editing the homepage in the admin.

If still after doing so didn’t fix the issue, we would suggest that you perform a conflict check.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
