Twitter count does not work

On my website I tested the Tweet button. This works (tweet is placed in Twitter), however the count stays on 0, because the search is done on the full site name, being http//www.foodfestivalseurope.com/, while the link in the tweet automatically becomes foodfestivalseurope.com.
So your search won’t find the tweet.
Where can this search be changed?
