Twitter embed not working after upgrade to 5.9.2

    Hello all,

    I look after quite a few WordPress sites and I use Twitter publish (https://publish.twitter.com/) to embed schools’ Twitter feed on their websites, using an HTML block, overnight last night all of my sites were updated to WordPress 5.9.2 but it appears that the Twitter feeds from all the sites using the above methods has broken.

    Is there any particular reason for this and is there a workaround to fix this?

    This not a WordPress issue as such, it’s an issue at Twitter’s end. There have been several other users facing the same problem today with their embedded Twitter feeds. Hopefully this will be fixed soon by Twitter.

    Same problem here both on my blog and normal website that has nothing to do with WordPress. Looking in the browser tools, one of the calls to Twitter is coming back with a 404 response. When I went to generate a new embedded timeline, the code to copy was the exact same so no change there.

    And, as I’m typing this my timelines are appearing again in both places LOL.

    Thank you for responding to my question but, took a look at the sites this morning and was surprised to see the Twitter embeds are all working again.

    Not sure if this was a caching issue but clearing the cache at the server and browser yesterday hadn’t worked but today they are back working again. ??
