Twitter error 186, over 140 characters

Nice free plug in and thank you for developing it and all. Mostly, it works very well. Occasionally though, it stumbles over the Twitter character limits. I have read and understand the Twitter FAQs. I have updated the plugin to Version 3.4.25.

It looks like sometimes the plugin truncates the fields sufficiently to make the post tweet able, but sometimes it doesn’t. I haven’t been able to discern a predictable pattern.

Is that working as intended? If it is a matter of educating users, something I won’t be able to do given the sheer number of them, is there a hook I can use to write a function that truncates the output instead of failing?
