Twitter Fans – Fan pictures don't work anymore

Yeah, what’s the story? This thing is seriously borked now. Could do with having it working…

Agreed, this is an issue. I’m switching to a different app until it works again.

Fix for Twitter API Issue

See the above post. Changing the URL used for pulling follower info worked for me.

Thank you japheth! I only waited for that solution for 4 months. Some would say that’s a quick answer LOL! It worked like a charm. I changed that one line of code and behold twitter fans again. The second line of code was already inserted. Thank you again.

Doesn’t seem to work for me. I mean using that *solution* made follower photos appear, but they weren’t MY followers at all.

Yup, doesn’t work even with the suggested fix. The fans that show up are random, and not my fans.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Then I deleted and downloaded a fresh copy and I am still getting someone else twitter account. I am not sure how long I am going to keep this up as it will confuse my new visitors. What is happening is I have entered diyweddingsmag {my twitter} and what is showing is stnweddings account. I have randomly change it to other twitter accounts and it just brings up what ever it likes. So it is not matching anything that is put into the account box.

I just want to ask you:

How can I disable/hide links for all the follower images in the widget? (Just disable links, not the follower images).

I ask this to decrease loading to my limited server. ??
