• Is there anyway to get a follow me badge on my wordpress blog. I don’t want full updates just a button for users to click and follow me.

  • There seems to be a few “badges” you can add to your site.
    Here is a good one.
    As well as this one.

    Good luck. ??

I am having trouble with all of these. I have downloaded several different images and have uploaded them to the server. I have followed the directions give on the first link have problems really right away.

    The directions are as follows:

“Upload them – using your method of choice – to the server hosting your blog/website; if you’re on WP there is a Upload Images button in the Add Media menu that you can access from the Write area.
Select the desired destination, e.g. a sidebar HTML widget and paste the following tag in:”

On the template I’m using (dandelion), under settings where it says “write,” and then goes to writing settings, there is no area for media at all. That page gives me settings for remote publishing and posting via email.

I have tried the “media” link under “settings.” This gives me three choices for image sizes. This is not the place.

I’ve gone to the “media” heading under the “posts” heading. This lets me add the image, but it does not give me a choice of a desired destination- it is only the media library.

    What am I missing?

    TIA.

Solved. Make it a text widget.

    Tikki
